APWU Union Members and their families are invited to join us at the Denver Zoo, rain or shine, on Sunday September 29th, 2024 for an enjoyable social and educational family experience.
APWU Members can enter the Denver Zoo when it opens at 9:00 a.m. We have reserved the air-conditioned Norgren Hall for the day. Hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixin’s will probably be served from about 12:00 until about 2:00 p.m. This is still being worked out.
Members will get 1 free ticket, $10.00 for 1 additional ticket. Children under 2 are free. Members must get your free ticket from your APWU representative. A very limited number of tickets will be available.
- Tickets will be available beginning at the July 21 General Membership Meeting.

Located in Denver’s City Park. The Zoo’s main entrance is on 23rd Avenue between Colorado Boulevard and York Street. Parking is free in the adjoining parking lots and deck.
